Dr. Anita Gupta has over 25 years + of professional experience in Management of Govt. of India programs on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Startups and Incubation coupled with research and academic experience at premier Technical institutes. She is currently Associate Head (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) at Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. It is the lead Govt. of India Department in the country for promoting Technology Business Incubators and startups in tech domain under National initiative of Startup India. She has played a significant role in horizontal and vertical growth of innovation, entrepreneurship and start-ups in the country. She has been a lead catalyst in establishing over 150 technology business incubators at Institutions of excellence including IITs, IIMs, NITs, and leading private universities and institutions. Honourable President Dr. Pranab Mukherjee launched the Student Start-up policy in November 2016. Sanjay is leading this Student Start-up implementation team for 3500+ technical institutes across India. Sanjay aspires to contribute towards making India a better place for an all-inclusive society. His interests are Entrepreneurship, Startups, Skill-development & Leadership. In the classroom, he uses a combination of the ancient Indian wisdom of teaching and Harvard’s case study method of learning.
